335 miles 17.5 hours

The cats take turns sitting on Lilly's lap. This is Daniel. Abby feeds the pets Cheetohs and Daniel especially liked this treat. We offer the litter box and water at each stop but the cats have thus far refused to make use of either.

Nilla gets restless and stands up over the back of the middle seat to see the girls in the back seat. She also tries to sit on Lilly's lap but Serena pushes her back onto the car seat. Tiger (cat) likes to curl up on the seat with Nilla.

Madeline's (cat) favorite place to ride was on top of the cat carrier- not a very secure perch but perhaps it had a good view.

We cross the river and enter Ohio at 1:30 pm on Thursday. Katie said, "Ohio is even more cool- well, no- awesome!"

Kevin is worried because we haven't heard the hitch bump the ground for quite a while. When we finally hear it again he said, "Okay, it's still there."

Abby said, "Oh my gosh. I can't wait to see Pennsylvania."
At 2 pm we get back on Interstate 71 north. We drive past an amusement park and can see the roller coaster from the interstate. The girls "oh" and "ah" but immediately go back to their play. We are surprised that there are no requests to stop.
Kevin comments every time we see another trailer. Frequently that the other trailer rides horizontally with the road, unlike ours. We passed a truck pulling both a horse atrailer and a flatbed and KEvin yells, "Show off."
Abby sings and makes a lot of nonsense noise. Kevin commments, "Who needs a radio when you have an Abby."
Kevin begins to look for a gas station and Abby, with all of her blonde hair, asks, "Why do we need a gas station?"
