Out of the city

I know the pictures aren't the best. Sorry. The first is of the gas station. It is really big and all the lanes are full service. There are men everywhere in yellow vests. You pull up and they start the gas and help someone else and come back to get your money. You never leave your vehicle. After lots of research this is the cheapest gas in the area.
This picture is us trying to make a left turn to get back on the bridge. It was Saturday night and lots of traffic.
The cars would go on into the intersection after the light turned red, thus blocking the traffic. We are stopped at the red light and the cars in front of us turned to go left and blocked the oncoming traffic. The car facing us was going around the cars and tried to fit to cross in front of us to go around the stopped cars and continue down the road we were on. They made it.

The George Washington Bridge has purple lights on it. They are really pretty and remind me of Christmas lights.

Again, not a great picture, but gives you an idea of the markets with their produce displayed on the sidewalk.

This is the nearest McDonalds, 125th and Broadway I think. It is behind the bus. The next picture shows the subway going up from under ground to above the street traffic. The tracks are right in front of us. Where the van is sitting, under the subway, is a left turn lane onto 125th. I believe we are on Broadway, coming back from the bridge.

We got to leave the city again last weekend. Kevin's check came on Saturday, and the mail doesn't come until late in the day, so we left town around 4:30 pm. Ate dinner at IHOP again, our anniversary dinner out. Kevin got pancakes and Serena had pot roast. Both meals were really good. There is a Yankee Candle store next door and then a Christmas Tree Shoppe. We went in just to browse and enjoy our outing. I was surprised how much stuff was there. A big Halloween display but also merchandise similar to Big Lots. (Not as nice as WalMart but a step up from Dollar General.) And obviously lots of Christmas decorations.

Then we went to Target for our groceries and household stuff. Had a nice trip but it was late and everyone was tired.
