Green Meadows Farm

Abby with her pumpkin from the farm. She got to milk a cow, feed a baby sheep, and hold a chicken. After a fight about having to go, I think she had fun there. Website is http://www.visitgreenmeadowsfarm.com/. I am impressed there is a farm nearby.

DATE: Oct 13, 2010
PLACE: Green Meadow Farm
WHAT WE DID: We rode a hay ride. And milked a cow. I got to pick up a chicken. At the end we got a pumpkin.
WHAT WE SAW: We saw a cow. And a pig. We also saw an chicken.
WHAT WE LEARNED: I learned that baby ducks would drown so thair mom puts oil on them so they wont drown.
I LIKED OR DISLIKED THE TRIP BECAUSE: It was fun because I got to pick up a chicken and pet a pig.

Next picture is doing math homework on the couch. It is not challenging, just busy, so I am not to strict about where or how it is done. Writing assignments we go to the table.

The last picture is of Abby's life savor, Mrs. Mathern, the school councelor. We would have never made it this far without her. She is a God send. Abby was able to stay in her office and then she accompanied Abby to class until she adjusted. Abby eats lunch in her office some days and some days Mrs. Mathern eats in the cafeteria with Abby. She waits for Abby every morning and they walk to class together. An absolutely amazing woman. She has listened to all of Abby's concerns and found ways to address them.
