More apples

First picture is where we ate lunch.

This is the Lilly version of bobbing for apples. Check out the video below. When it got to hard to hold the apple to bite it she set it down in the cup holder and then leaded over with out using her hands and took a bite.

Serena, Abby, and Lilly on the wagon ride back from the fields. Below you can see the big barrels where the available apples were. One held green apples another red and the third was a mix.

After we left the apple orchard we all went to Grandma's Restaurant, famous for its pies. The church treated all 16 of us to lunch! What a treat! Lilly was full of apple and pretty rotten. She doesn't like to sit still any way and wasn't intereseted in eating . She was in a giant wooden chair against the wall and stod up to look aroudn at the others at the table and at the staff walking back and forth past her. She got a "Mary Poppins" which was grilled cheese and fries. She did eat her fries and brought her grilled cheese home where Abby ate it for supper. Kevi ngot a huge cheeseburger and fries and Serena got meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Abby got a hot dog and fries. Then everyone at the table ordered pie and just passed their plates around so everyone could taste them. Serena got a peanut butter pie that had a chocolate crust and chocolate chips in it. The others ate the table ordered key lime, coconut custard, and blueberry. Abby sat at the other table and ordered babana cream pie. She also got to taste the pumpkin, peanut butter, and bumbleberry pies.
Okay, there are 35 kinds of pie and also several kinds of quiche. Prices per pie are from $12 -$25. Huge slices!
