These are just some of the beautiful scenes we saw today. The autumn colors and the church steeples in front of a gorgeous sky.
If you remember the movie Look Whose Talking, that is what being a baby i nthe city is like. Everyone to big for a ouch is in a stroller and so Lilly passes lots of kids her size and right at her view level. Remember Mikey going for walks and talking to all the babies in their buggies that he passes. She loves the pigeons and squeals whenever we pass any. Today when we got to the block our church is on Lilly yelled, "There it is!"
Lilly won't stay in the nursery without Abby and Abby is really too old and so we have been trying to get her to go to Sunday School. Last week Lilly cried so loudly that we could hear her in church. This week we brought a bag of stuff and tried to just keep herwith us. That lasted until the Prayer of Illumination when she was excited talking about horses and poor Candace kept praying louder and louder. As soon as the prayer was over we went to the nursery. This could quickly become a problem- I don't want to miss the service to sit in the nursery.
Takako taught Sunday School this week and Abby really likes her. They are making decorations for Hanging of the Greens. This week Cameron (a child) taught them how to make papercrains. Next week Abby is teaching how to make paperchains. The teacher told me how impressed she was with Abby's performance. The oragami instructions were written for 9-11 year old children and Abby caught right on by reading the directions and looking at the pictures.
