School Lunch

In an effort to help get Abby to school on Mondays and in response to the lunchroom issue, Serena now takes Abby at lunch time 2 days a week. She had to meet with the principal who was wonderful about making arrangements. We have been eating in an empty room near the main office.

When I picked Abby up today I recorded the sound during luch time. I was SO MAD that the staff allow that. I don't know if you can get a real feel for it from the tape but there is NO supervision at all. The children didn't stay in their seats, threw things across the tables, and were just loud! I didn't point the camera at the kids, just wanted to pick up the noise. I have eaten with Katie at Parrish School and Abby at Unity Point and the cafeteria didn't sound like this. It is not a school thing, but rather a staff thing. Total lack of discipline.
