City Kitties Out On the Town

This morning Daniel got out again, a pretty frequent occurance now. Serena had taken the dogs out for their walk before school. Abby's friend came over and held the door open as she talked. Katie realized the cat was missing. As soon as Serena got back they went to search for him. Katie took one set of stairs to search floor 4 and Serena took the other stairs to search floor 3. She was going to send Abb yand Fanney down to floor 2, but it wasn't necessary. Daniel was sitting on the floor against the door of 309. Each hall is the same so we all think he got scared or had enough adventure and thought he had found home. Serena picked him up and gathered the girls and took him home. We decided today would be a good day to take the cats out for their promised walk.

We punched new holes in their collars so they fit more snuggly and found 2 straps that would work as leashes. Lilly was eager to help.

We went to Riverside Park. The closest place with grass. We think they enjoyed it. Daniel was pretty hesitant as he explored and would lie down any time someone approached. We were near Grant's Tomb and Riverside Church, both big tourist attractions. It is a beauiful location, especially in the fall.
