Later I comment on this pose. To keep warm? Feathers fluffed and head tucked in. It was very cold today. Enough to make bare skin hurt. We were well bundled though.
This pigeon landed on the chair between Katie and Lilly at our table. It was kind of intimidating looking at one eye to eye!
The next bird landed on the tabe next to us. It only had one foot. We noticed that the pigeons fluffed out their feathers and tucked their heads down, to keep warm, I suspect.

Next picture is good because it lets you see the colors. The most common ones have green and purple on their necks. They are fighting over a yellow M and M that Lilly dropped. They would all peck at it and try to pick it up in their beaks until it finally broke into pieces and they could eat it.
