Bryant Park

This was the windows of the Met Life building. It was huge and green. You can see the entire building in other pictures.

We also passed an M and M store. In front of a Charmen (toilet paper) store were men searing toilet costumes and holdign rolls of toilet paper. They were inviting tourists in to use the "cleanest toilets in the city". Very funny guys.

Lilly and Katie were hungry right away and I wasn't sure the rules for eating on the bus. We passed this park soon after getting there and stopped here to eat.

The ball hanging from this building changed colors every few seconds.

Ice skating rink. The college recommended this one, it is the cheapest in the area. Free admission adn $13 skate rental. We will go skating when Kevin is with us. He and Katie are the only expereinced skaters in the family. It was such fun to watch though. Reminded me of the Kirlins figures that you wind up and they move around the mirror pond.

Fountain in the park. There were little stores all over the park. One lady was selling kettle corn and giving out free samples. She filled up Katie's gloved hands with it and then Katie didn't know how to eat it since both hands were full. I cupped my hands around one of hers and she was able to eat with the free hand. Lilly loves popcorn but wouldn't try this kind.

Did you know that Reservoir Square was renamed Bryant Park? It was renamed to honor recently deceased poet, civil reformer, William Cullen Bryant. Bryant Park has ice skating, gift shops, food places, and lilly's carousel. There's lots of things to do and lots of birds.
