More Packing

Lilly takes a break from packing for a nap on the floor.

Maddie

She is still hiding in every empty space she can find.

Peaking through the key hole into the girl's room.

Rosslyn (on the left) was a few months younger than Lilly and our next door neighbor. Anytime we would hear Rosslyn in the hallway Lilly would yell, "Rozzy" and run to the door. If we got there in time we would open the door and she would say hello to her.

Empying out the rooms.

You can only laugh at how we move, (otherwise we would cry) although we have decided we are not moving again until we can pay a moving service to do it for us!

Moving day at the apartments was December 21. One family was using this yellow truck. Another family was using a different yellow truck. Either way our van would have fit inside these moving trucks.

Now if you look very carefully you can see what we were packing. Our faithful old green van, parked at the end of the street, the closest spot we could get. We put everything we could fit from our 2 bedroom apartment into that poor van and tried once again to drive it half way across the country.

That is us, the last vehicle on the left, with the huge load on the roof. All the while we are passing the moving guys loading those two huge trucks.

Kevin checking the ropes before we pull out.
